Prop challenges

Compare firm rules, then grade your replay trades against them in Prop Mode.

Props is where you compare evaluation accounts. Filter by firm and account size, sort the list, and open a card for the pass target, drawdown, daily loss limit, contract limit and fee where we have a verified figure. A dash means no verified figure. Values tagged sample are placeholders.

The list covers Topstep, Alpha Futures, Tradeify, Apex, MyFundedFutures, Take Profit Trader, Bulenox and TradeDay. The footer states the date the rules were last reviewed.

Picking accounts

Tick a card to add it to the Side by side table. You can select up to four accounts to compare. Backtest this account, or Backtest N accounts as a portfolio, opens the terminal with your selection loaded.

Prop Mode in the terminal

With accounts picked, Prop Mode checks the rules at every bar close and grades each paper trade against them.

  • Room to drawdown, and whether the drawdown is intraday trailing, end of day trailing or static.
  • Profit target progress and daily loss left.
  • Consistency caps, with a warning when your best day is too large to pass.
  • A what-if view of how a pending trade would change your daily loss, drawdown room and best-day share.
  • An attempt history with Passed, Failed and Live outcomes. Press New attempt to reset the account.

Everything here is simulated. QuantLab is not affiliated with any prop firm, and rules can change. Confirm them with the firm.
