Press Indicators in the chart header to open the dialog titled Indicators, metrics, and strategies. It has a search box, a sidebar of categories and a list of scripts with a star beside each one.
Sidebar
- Personal holds Favorites, your own scripts, Import Pine and Templates.
- Built-in lists QuantLab's models, levels and sessions, and the strategies that draw their entries and exits on the chart.
- Community lists open-source studies ported to QuantLab.
Pick a category to narrow the list, or use the All, Indicators and Strategies pills above it. Star a script to keep it under Favorites. Press the add control on a row to put it on the chart, and press the remove control to take it off.
A script that failed to compile is marked Compile failed with the reason.
Import Pine
The Import Pine row opens a panel where you paste a Pine script and check it before adding it. For Pine you want to keep, use Import Pine in the Lab.
A link from the Lab can add an indicator for you. QuantLab, Partnered and library cards open the Backtester with the indicator already on the chart.
