A good request names four things: the market, the timeframe, what triggers the signal and where the idea is wrong. The placeholder in the composer asks for exactly that, and builds that include all four need the fewest follow-ups.
Starter chips
Under the composer, the starter chips are grouped into Structure, Liquidity, Sessions, Risk and Momentum. Pressing a chip drops a complete prompt into the box. Edit the numbers and wording before you send it, since each one is a starting point and not a finished spec.
Building from a screenshot
Press Screenshot, or paste or drop an image onto the composer, to build from a chart picture. PNG, JPEG and WebP files work. The Lab shrinks large images to a 1600 pixel edge before sending them.
- Add a line of context saying which indicator on the chart you want and anything the image does not show.
- If you send an image with no text, the Lab uses a default request to build the indicator it sees.
- Image input needs a model that can read images. If your connected model cannot, the Lab says so when you attach the file instead of after you type a long prompt.
Following up
Once a build is in the thread, the box changes to answer or ask for a change. Describe the change in the same words you would use with a colleague, for example moving the stop or adding a session filter. Each reply produces a new build card in the thread.
