Reading a build

The badges, the Pine source and what each button on the card does.

Every build arrives as a card with the file name, the Pine version and a compile badge, followed by the source in a collapsible block.

Compile badges

  • Verified on TradingView: the script passed TradingView's Pine v6 compiler.
  • Not verified: the check did not run or could not reach a verdict.
  • A count of compile errors: the card lists each one with its line so you can ask for a fix.

Runs on QuantLab bars, or TradingView only

A build with your own AI connected can carry a second form that QuantLab's own engine can run. When it does, the card shows Runs on QuantLab bars, the time the run took and a table of the last values of each plot. If some lines cannot be translated, the card says Runs in part or TradingView only and lists the lines that blocked it.

Builds from QuantLab's own model are Pine export only. The card offers a button to connect your AI if you want a version that runs on the chart.

Plot review

Beside the compile result you may see Plot matches, Plot partly matches or Plot may not match. This is an advisory check of the plotted values against your request. It does not look at a chart image and it never changes the badges or the buttons.
